2. Affiliate Marketing
3. Newsletter Subscriptions

Lead generation has proved the most reliable and also earns a recurring income if marketed properly. If your niche is related to anything financial especially remortgaging or refinancing using this method will prove successful. You could end up from generating a lead of $3 – 12 earning hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Affiliate marketing is when you sign up to sell someone else’s product. You will market this product using your blog and if you sell this product you will get a share of the total prices. ClickBank and Commission Junction are excellent and you can end up earning up to 75% of the sale. Physical products are harder to sell and the commission usually amounts to 15% at best.

Newsletters are a fantastic way to monetize your blog. They not only start building a relationship with your client where you can build a very good residual income but also in each newsletter you can add a link to your product which may capture your lead’s attention. It is important and one of the most integral parts of your business to have an autoresponder. Not only does your autoresponder capture leads but you can send out emails to your list automatically giving you the opportunity to send out regular newsletters at a time of your choice giving you peace of mind that you won’t have missed an opportunity or sale.

Other methods include an opt in form where you can offer your visitors a free gift or a free subscription to your newsletter. If you are starting from scratch the more freebies you can offer the faster you can get those important leads.

Lastly always provide quality content on your blog. You know what you look for when searching for information. Make sure that your visitor finds quality information. Always over deliver as quality is the key.
