@SmartPassiveIncome LOL! Well if you haven’t done a post showing your set-up with it – please do! I’m not an “audio snob” but I do want to sound good and I think this one sounds just fine. Thanks!

@MsIleaneSpeaks Ohh – yeah doh sorry! I totally forgot I had that beginning part with the lapel. It’s a wireless AZDEN WMS-PRO – and it’s “just okay” – I still am looking for Heil quality sound with a lapel mic but have yet to find it.

@SmartPassiveIncome Pat I know about the Heil, but isn’t that a lapel mic that you have on in the video? Are you using both of them at the same time? Thanks.

Thanks Pat, I was not adding rel=”nofollow” to my affiliate links before which apparently is a pretty bad idea. I’ll be changing my Pretty Link Lite plugin to do a 301 redirect with “nofollow” from now on. This will definitely help out my SEO, I really appreciate it.

@SmartPassiveIncome Thanks Pat, the permalinks was the issue I was thinking about. I will definitely make this change from now on though.

Pat, great 5 tips and I would provide you with one – reduce the number of plugins on your blog… seems like you have over 50 installed. If you are not using some plugins it would be better to delete them

@aldin30 A lot of plugins, yes, but they don’t slow my site down too much – they don’t have a ton of javascript and things that take up too much loading time, if any at all.

@MagzParmenter I would at least change the images. With the permalinks, making changes could create some dead links on your site or other sites that link to you. Just keep that in mind for the future - again, it’s not a HUGE thing, but it’s just one of those small things that could help over time.

great tips Pat, thanx…. one question: I noticed you had over 40 active plugins… doesn’t it slow down your site a lot?

Pat, with regards to the image seo and permalinks…what about existing content on my site…should I go back and change what is already there?
